"Road sense is the offspring of courtesy and the parent of safety."

Safety on the road, safe at home.

Objective:

  1. To ensure and inculcate the importance of road safety.
  2. Educating students about the road safety rules and regulations
  3. To ensure that they have a driving license.

Functions:

  1. To take an oath to prioritize road safety.
  2. Showcasing models illustrating road rules and safety measures.
  3. To show importance of road safety.
  4. To form squad with students in our college.

 

To ensure and inculcate the importance of road safety, the Immaculate College for Women has created 'The Road Safety Club' for our college students. As many college students ride bikes, this club teaches them the road safety rules and regulations and also ensures that they have a driving license. Every year during road safety week, our college organizes an awareness program where the students are made to take an oath regarding road safety. The college, along with TNSTC, arranged an event where they displayed models regarding road rules. On 20th March 2024 The meeting regarding Road Safety Club rules and regulation was held in our college, in the presence of Secretary Rev. Sr. Sagayamary, Principal Dr. M. Susiladevi and HR Dr.S.Chitra, The session was ended successfully. The Nodal Officers was appointed and the members were selected.
