The Department of Physics has a rich tradition of excellent teaching. Located on the scenic campus, the Department of Physics came into existence in June 2015.Its rigorous and broad-based undergraduate programme and dedicated faculty with wide-ranging research interests made it one of the best-known Physics departments.Our curiosity is to drive the research programs and train the young students to acquire knowledge and mould them as global leaders in science & technology and to communicate and engage with the broader society. All the faculties have participated in Faculty Development Program (FDP) programs and many teaching related workshops to update their subject’s knowledge and to become trained persons both in their subject matter and teaching skills.Several research papers have been published in various national and international journals in the last few years.Apart from teaching physics courses and guiding students in their projects, faculties actively engage in regular seminars and discussion forums and popular talks.Regular visits of experts and scholars from Academia and industry for technical and popular talks add to the vibrant academic culture of sharing and collaboration. It is really to our college to ensure that we obtain parent feedback regularly. This information allows us to see where our strengths lie and also the areas in which we need to improve.Our students are educated in an innovative, dynamic and challenging environment through a combination of research based teaching, project work and a high degree of interaction with industry.
