Louis Savinien Dupuis - Founder
As he tried to establish the Congregation and the formation of the Sisters, he found it very difficult to maintain. He has urged many different people to sustain the Convents and the Schools. The first school is Immaculate Heart of Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Puducherry.- Our Founder’s father had an institution to educate all the Women with the Vision that if Women are educated the family will be brought to Light. Women will learn to organize the family in a systematic way. Only for this purpose, our Founder Servant of God Louis Savenien Dupius instituted the Immaculate Heart of Mary Congregation. He had a great vision of upbringing the Womenfolk.
- He was very keen on educating the Sisters to Educate the Girls. The very many Immaculate Educational institutions speak about his vision aloud. One of such higher Educational Institutions is Immaculate College for Women, Cuddalore.

- On 9th November 1858, he writes in his letter that when no student came to the institution, a girl came first and many other children followed her and came to the institution the founder was very happy. He wants to instill in the women’s sanctity and Education without any caste or creed.
