To boldly explore and advance new chemical frontiers in the life sciences, physical sciences, medicine, energy, materials, and environmental sciences through visionary research, innovation and collaboration, the Department of Chemistry was started in the year 2016 with 1 staff member and 50 students.  Now the department has developed with 350 students and 5 staff members. Many students passed out from this department pursued higher education and holding various positions in private sectors. This department is having well equipped laboratory with capacity of accommodating 50 students. 50 students were enrolled their graduation level in 2016-2019. Every year, the Department of Chemistry conducts various seminars, workshop and conference for the benefits of the students and the faculty members

The department of Chemistry started functioning as a separate department from 2016. It offers B.Sc., programme It has 6 well experienced teaching faculty. Seminars , workshops , competitions are organized Our students has participated various intra and inter college competition and won many prizes. Our faculty members have presented papers in National and international conference and also published articles in UGC approved journals.
