         AICUF club organized Electoral Literacy programme on awareness of election. The program started with a prayer song. Rev.Sr.Sagamary, Secretary presided over the programme. Dr.M.Susiladevi, Principal and Dr.S.Chitra were also present. The Chief guest of this programme was Fr. Parthasarathi SJ Tamilnadu AICUF State Advisor, Chennai. Sr.Jancy, AICUF coordinator welcomed the chief guest.

   They gave a skit on awareness of election. Elections are fundamental and a prerequisite for a democracy. Elections give people a chance to evaluate their leaders. Elections give people a chance to change the government. Elections help the people in the selection of their representatives. They insisted the importance of election to the students and also to vote for the one who supports the need of the people and do what they need. They also said not to waste the vote without electing. It is through elections that people exercise their power to choose or change their leaders. The elected representatives act on behalf of the people, lead them, and make laws for them.

     Students enjoyed the programme and also understood the importance of electing. Atlast feedback was given by students and the programme was ended by College Anthem.
