The Immaculate College for Women, Chinnakangankuppam, in collaboration with the State Blindness Control Society and the District Blindness Control Society of Cuddalore district organized an Eye Donation Awareness Program on 6.10.2024 in college seminar Hall nearly 180 students attended the programme Dr. J. Stanley chandran, the former vice president of the Indian Medical Association, Tamil Nadu, addressed the gathering. Dr. D. Kesavan, District Program Manager of the Eye Department at Government Hospital, Cuddalore, shared valuable insights on the various causes and reasons for blindness. He emphasized the importance of preventive measures, making the information clear and understandable to the students. Dr. Kesavan also highlighted the significance of eye donation, underscoring how this simple act can transform lives and restore vision to those in need.
