RESPONSIBILITIES OF STUDENT PRESIDENT & VICE PRESIDENT

1. Call and preside over student meetings: Schedule, lead, and facilitate meetings of the student Union Bodies.

2. Set student meeting agenda: Determine the agenda for student meetings and initiatives.

3. Communicate with student organizations: Liaise with student clubs, organizations, and other groups on campus.

4. Collaborate with college administration on student issues: Work with administrators on issues affecting students, such as campus policies, facilities, or services.

5.Represent students at official college events: Attend and represent the student body at college ceremonies, convocations, or other official events.

6. Review and approve student resolutions: Ensure resolutions align with student goals and college policies.

7. Coordinate student feedback mechanisms: Help gather and convey student opinions to college administration

8.Foster student engagement and involvement: Encourage students to participate in campus activities, student government, and decision-making processes.

9. Address student concerns and grievances: Work to resolve issues or concerns raised by students regarding campus life, policies, or services.

10. Promote campus events and initiatives: Support and promote events, campaigns, or initiatives that benefit students or the college community.

11. Build relationships with student leaders: Develop and maintain relationships with leaders of clubs, and other groups.

12. Support student wellness and success initiatives: Collaborate on initiatives promoting student well-being, academic success, or other aspects of student life.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF STUDENT SECRETARY AND VICE SECRETARY

1. Take detailed minutes of student meetings: Record discussions, decisions, actions, and votes taken during meetings.

2. Distribute meeting minutes to student members: Send out minutes after meetings for review and reference.

3. Maintain a record of student attendance: Track attendance at meetings for student  ministers.

4. Manage student correspondence: Handle incoming and outgoing communications on behalf of the student union

5. File student union documents for record keeping: Organize and store documents related to student union activities.

6. Coordinate with other student organizations: May liaise with other student groups on behalf of the student union

7. Support student  leaders: Provide administrative or organizational support to the president or other leaders.

8. Help with student government outreach or promotions: Assist with communicating student activities or initiatives to the student body.

9. Ensure student ministers compliance with college policies: Help ensure student ministers activities align with college rules and regulations.

10. Conduct weekly Assembly and daily prayer.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF STUDENT CULTURAL MINISTER & VICE CULTURAL  MINISTER

 

1. Promote fine arts on campus: Encourage and support fine arts activities, events, and initiatives within the college community.

2. Coordinate fine arts events: Help plan, organize, or promote events like art exhibitions or other fine arts-related activities.

3. Support student involvement in fine arts: Foster participation and engagement of students in fine arts programs, or activities.

4. Collaborate with IMMAGS: Work with college IMMAGS, student organizations,  to promote fine arts on campus.

5. Advocate for fine arts interests: Represent the interests of fine arts students or programs within the college community

6. Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration in fine arts: Support collaborations between fine arts and other disciplines or departments on campus.

7. Schedule fine arts events on campus calendar: Ensure fine arts events are listed on the college's official calendar.

8. Promote fine arts performances via social media: Use social media channels to advertise fine arts events.

9. Gather feedback on fine arts programming from students: Collect student opinions on fine arts events or initiatives to help improve or plan future activities.

10.Assist with judging or selecting winners for fine arts competitions: Help with judging or organizing fine arts competitions.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF STUDENT DISCIPLINE MINISTER & VICE DISCIPLINE MINISTER

 

1. Promote campus discipline and conduct: Encourage students to adhere to college rules, regulations, and codes of conduct.

2. Support enforcement of college policies: May work with college administration to ensure awareness and understanding of campus policies.

3. Foster a positive and respectful campus environment: Encourage behaviors that contribute to a respectful, safe, and inclusive college community.

4. Educate students on college rules and expectations: Help communicate college policies and expectations to students through various channels.

5. Collaborate with college administration on discipline-related issues: May work with administrators on issues related to student conduct, discipline, or campus safety.

6. Support initiatives promoting student responsibility and accountability: Encourage students to take responsibility for their actions and be accountable for their behavior.

7. Assist with promoting campus safety initiatives: Collaborate on initiatives highlighting safety practices like emergency procedures, bike safety, or personal security on campus.

8. Help manage or promote student conduct reporting processes: May assist in communicating how students can report incidents or concerns about conduct or safety.

9. Collaborate on initiatives addressing disruptive behavior: Work with college groups on addressing issues like noise complaints, disruptions in study areas, or other behavior impacting campus community.

10.Assist in promoting respect for college facilities and resources: Encourage students to respect college property and shared resources.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF STUDENT SPORTS MINISTER & VICE SPORTS MINISTER

 

1. Promote sports and physical activities on campus: Encourage student participation in sports, intramurals, or other physical activities.

2. Support college sports teams : Help promote or support college sports teams,  or intramural leagues.

3. Coordinate or promote sports-related events: Help organize or promote events like tournaments, matches, or sports festivals on campus.

4. Collaborate with college: Work with the College on initiatives related to sports, fitness, or wellness.

5. Encourage student engagement in sports: Foster participation in sports or physical activities among students.

6. Help with publicity for sports events: Assist in promoting sports events through posters, social media, or other channels.

7. Coordinate with captains of sports teams: Liaise with team captains on logistics, promotions, or needs of college sports teams.

8. Help organize sports equipment or facility usage: Assist in managing or promoting usage of sports facilities or equipment for students.

9. Assist with promoting college sportsmanship values: Encourage values like teamwork, fair play, and sportsmanship among student athletes.

10. Gather feedback from students on sports programs or facilities: Collect student opinions on sports offerings or facilities to help improve or plan future activities.
