The Department of English had conducted the Literary Association on 20.09.2024 titled "Literary Soul of India" , which focuses on Indian Literature. The programme was presided by Dr M Susila Devi, Principal and Dr S Chitra, HR of the college.The Association began with the prayer song . Karkuzhale.K from II M A English welcomed the gathering.Saranya Devi from II M A English had delivered a speech titled Emergence of English in India, explaining how English had emerged in and around India . UG Students from the department enacted a skit on the short story "In The Flood" in Contemporary Indian Literature. Students had presented a PowerPoint presentation on the Indian writers and their notable works . A Quiz was conducted on the writers of Indian Literature. Students have participated eagerly and had won prizes for the same . Students performed an electrifying performance which made the whole environment with the positive energy. Anciliya Suruthi from II Pg English had delivered the vote of thanks. The Association programme ended with college anthem . Indeed it was a resounding success for all of us.
