Punctuality
- College Timing : 8.50 am – 2.00 pm with a break of 20 minutes. Students should be present in the classroom at the stroke of the first bell at 8.50 am. The first hour will start with a prayer Song at 8.50 am.
- Avoid coming late to the classes. Late comers can enter the class after getting Signature from the Principal. It will be informed to the Parents through SMS.
- There is nothing that can substitute for self discipline and a serious devotion to duty, a spirit of respect and love for all that is good, noble and beautiful in life.
- The College expects students to keep their vision high and solicit cooperation of the parents to minimize the necessity of enforcing rules and regulations.
- Students are expected to treat the College as their own and to cooperate in its efficient and smooth running. Students should abide by the Rules and Regulations of the College.
- The Official medium of Communication of the campus will be English. Any violation in the campus will not be entertained.
Assembly
- General Assembly will be conducted on Mondays and Fridays.
- Students should wear their respective department color dress code on Mondays and their respective House color dress code on Fridays.
- Approved style of wearing Uniform should be strictly followed.
Dress Code
- Students are expected to be neatly dressed in accordance with rules of approved etiquette, decency and modesty.
- Decent Salwar Kameez or Chudidhars with Duppata neatly draped and pinned at both shoulders.
- Avoid wearing Low Neck, Short or Sleeveless Blouse, Hipster Sarees, Jeans, Tight and Short tops, Tight Fitting Salwars and Leggings.
Identity Card
- Everyone should posses an Identity Card issued by the college. Without Identity card they will not be permitted to enter the college premises.
- Identity card is absolutely essential during examination and for obtaining Scholarship, Certificates, Library card, Bus card etc.
- Loss of identity card should be reported immediately and will be issued on paying a Special fee.
Attendance
- All the students should attend classes regularly. All should aim at 100% attendance.
- If there are some important and compelling reasons such as family celebrations, ill-health, etc., Students can avail leave after obtaining due permission primarily from the Principal.
- No student is permitted to take leave without prior permission of Principal and respective HOD.
- If taken they should come along with their Parents the next day.
- Absentees will have to get signature from the Principal and concerned HOD before the class begins.
- The Minimum requirement of attendance for candidate is 80% per Semester to enable her to appear for the Semester Examination.
- Those who got less than 80% attendance can appear semester examination only after obtaining Condonation Fee.
- If attendance of candidate is 55% -64%, then the candidate is not eligible to appear current semester examination but she will be permitted to move next semester and she can rejoin the course.
Leave
- Students should apply for leave with Leave Application to be duly signed by parents/ guardian/ Hostel Warden and get the endorsement of the respective HOD and the Principal.
- If leave is asked for reasons of illness for more than two days, the leave application along with a medical certificate should be submitted by the student at the college office after meeting the Principal.
- The name of the student will be removed from the rolls if she is absent continuously for more than 5 days without the explicit written permission of the Principal.
- SMS will be sent to respected parents about their absence.
Modesty in Class room
- On the first bell, students should assemble in the class rooms and wait silently for the lecturer.
- When the lecturer enters the classroom the students shall rise and remain standing till they are asked to sit.
- No student shall enter the class or leave the class without the permission of the lecturer.
- Late comers can enter the class only if permitted by the lecturer. They may be marked present by her at the end of hour only if there is sufficient reason for being late.
- During class hours the permission of the lecturer is needed to move from one seat to another or to leave the room. Books, Magazines, Newspapers, etc are not allowed to be brought to the College.
Disciplinary Norms
- The following are strictly forbidden. Any violation of these rules will result in dismissal/suspension from the college.
- Ragging of any kind and any magnitude inside /outside the college campus will lead to dismissal. Possession/use of camera cellular phones within the campus is strictly forbidden.
- Use of cellular phones inside the buildings/corridors will result in confiscation and no-return of the mobile phones. Any kind of disturbing behaviour in the campus is forbidden.
- Any Ill-treatment, both physical and verbal, based on gender, caste and religion will lead to dismissal.
- Causing damage to the college/public property by scribbling on walls, graffiti writing, scratching walls / toilets, breaking furniture, lab equipment, damaging fittings and pipes etc. will lead to dismissal.
- Any kind of misconduct / misbehaviour inside /outside the campus in public places, buses, trains, etc.) or detection of foot-board travel, blocking the traffic, unruly behaviour in buses or any kind of annoyance to the public will also result in the immediate withdrawal/permanent cancellation of all student travel concessions and the scholarships.
