RULES AND REGULATIONS OF LIBRARY

• The Library aims to stock all the books and periodicals which the students are required to read while studying in college.
• Library opens from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Strict silence should be maintained inside the library.
• Students should compulsorily carry their ID card and library card.
• Cell Phones are not allowed in the Library.
• Personal belongings (i.e) bag, laptop bag is not allowed in library. However, they may carry laptop, note-books for study purpose only.
• The library will not be responsible for students personal belongings/properties lost in the library
• Each student is eligible for two library cards on which students could avail two books for a period of 15 days
• Reference Book and Journals will not be issued.
• Avoid making pencil, pen marks, underlining or any other type of damage to the books. if any such things are noticed at the time of returning the books, the borrower will be held responsible

Loss of Library Books:

• If the book is lost, the borrower has to replace the latest edition of the lost book or if the book is not available then the borrower has to pay the cost of the book.
• Librarian may recall an issued document at any time to meet other urgent requirements.

Loss of Membership Card:

• Students are responsible for their membership card issued to them and will be responsible for any loss due to the misuse of the lost card.
• Loss of card should be reported to the librarian immediately.

Overdue Charges:

• Students can be issued a maximum of two books at a given period of time.
• Students can keep the books with them for a period up to 15 days only.
• The books should be returned before due date. Fine for overdue books will be levied at the following rates: * Rs. 1.00 per day per book.
• The replace card will be issued to students by charging Rs. 100.
